About AI use in Sellforte
Sellforte uses AI to power certain features that assist in interpreting marketing and sales data and marketing mix modelling results. The AI helps you explore insights, explain results, and generate illustrative recommendations.
To provide these features, Sellforte uses Anthropic’s Claude model via AWS Bedrock, hosted in EU/EEA data centres by default.
Capabilities and intended use
The AI is designed to support analysis and understanding of your sales and marketing performance by:
Interpreting and exploring your sales and marketing data and the marketing mix modelling results generated by Sellforte.
Generating illustrative summaries, explanations, and recommendations based on that information.
The AI cannot:
Access or analyze new or external data sources.
Modify or re-run your marketing mix models.
Provide summaries, forecasts, or predictions beyond what is possible with the available dataset.
The AI is not a general-purpose chat bot and is intended only for the use cases described above. It may, however, generate outputs unrelated to its intended purpose, especially if prompted to do so, in which case the content is uncontrolled by Sellforte.
Limitations and human oversight
AI-generated outputs may at times be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or misleading, and may differ from human analysis or not fully reflect your business context, future developments, or the most recent information.
All AI outputs should be independently reviewed and validated before use, especially in decision-making.
AI outputs are provided “as is” for informational purposes only, and Sellforte assumes no liability for any errors, inaccuracies, or damages arising from their use. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice, nor binding representations or commitments by Sellforte.
Prohibited use
You may not use the AI for:
Any purpose outside the intended analytical use case outlined above, even if technically possible.
Any illegal, high-risk, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful activities or purposes.
Entering personal data, including sensitive personal data, or any infringing, harmful, illegal content, or inside information.
Security violations, including attempting to disrupt, probe, or compromise the security, integrity, or availability of any user, network, or system, or to distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited content.
Reverse-engineering, retraining, or attempting to build competing systems or products.
Any activity that violates your current agreement with Sellforte, Sellforte Demo Terms of Use, AWS Bedrock Third-Party Model Terms, AWS Acceptable Use Policy, AWS Responsible AI Policy, or Anthropic’s Acceptable Use Policy.
Operation from unsupported countries (see Anthropic’s Supported Countries for API Usage).
Exporting or providing access where prohibited by U.S., EU, or other international sanctions.
Acting on behalf of a third party in connection with any of the prohibited purposes listed above.
Data handling and security
Sellforte uses Anthropic’s Claude models on AWS Bedrock to process your data. By default, all AI processing takes place within the EU/EEA on AWS infrastructure.
Your data remains confidential and is protected by the security controls applied by Sellforte, AWS, and Anthropic. None of these parties use your data to train AI models, and it is never shared or used to improve external models. AI interaction data is retained only briefly for operational purposes and then permanently deleted.
Sellforte personnel may access your data for diagnostics and quality assurance. Inputs and system behaviour may also be automatically scanned by Sellforte, AWS, and Anthropic for abuse detection and platform security.
Intellectual property
AI-generated outputs are assigned to you to the fullest extent permitted by law. However, any Sellforte intellectual property contained within the outputs (such as proprietary methods, models, software, or other protected materials) remains the exclusive property of Sellforte. We do not provide any warranties regarding the accuracy, uniqueness, or non-infringement of AI-generated outputs, and no indemnification is offered in relation to their use.
